LIPOVITE INJECTIONS
LipoVite injections contain a combination of several vitamins and lipotropic amino acids. Lipotropic agents are a class of substances that play an important role in the body’s use of fat. Through their involvement in lipid (fat) metabolism, lipotropics help to maintain a healthy liver.
Possible benefits of LipoVite injections include increased energy, improved thought process, elevated moods/decreased irritability, & possible enhancement of weight loss. It cannot be excluded that some beneft may be partially due to placebo effect. Results seem to be cumulative and may improve over a series of injections. LipoVite injections can be given as often as weekly depending on the aggression of an individual’s weight loss program.
Aside from weight loss, there can be many benefits from the use of lipotropic injections. Lipotropics are formulated to enhance liver function, which helps detoxify the body, increase metabolism, and store glycogen, the principal storage form of glucose. A healthy liver also secretes bile more effectively, which in turn aids in digestion and the breakdown of fats. Many weight-loss experts believe lipotropic injections boost the immune system by stimulating the growth of antibodies, which detect and destroy foreign and abnormal tissue. Advertisers claim that lipotropic injections also suppress appetite and lower cholesterol. Last, lipotropics are known to increase energy levels, which may enhance mood, vitality and overall health.
Side Effects / Risks
As with many medications, there are possible side effects from the use of lipotropic injections. One rare side effect is the development of an acute inflammatory reaction also known as inflammatory bowel disease for those who have problems adjusting to the metabolic changes. Patients may also experience general gastrointestinal problems such as irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Possible risks include infection, bleeding and allergic reactions. Those with heart disease, abnormal heart beat or other heart problems should take special caution when using lipotropics as they can increase heart rate.
Phentermine:
This medication is usually taken for only a few weeks at a time. It should not be taken with other appetite suppressants (see also Drug Interactions section). The possibility of serious side effects increases with longer use of this medication and use of this drug along with certain other diet drugs.
This medication may cause withdrawal reactions, especially if it has been used regularly for a long time or in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal symptoms (such as depression, severe tiredness) may occur if you suddenly stop using this medication. It is not known how this medication helps people to lose weight. It may work by decreasing your appetite, increasing the amount of energy used by your body, or by affecting certain parts of the brain. This medication is an appetite suppressant and belongs to a class of drugs called sympathomimetic amines.
