What Is the independent, dependent variables and constants?
I’m making a write-up of an experiment, and i have trouble identifying the independent, dependent variables, and constants… please help me!
The Experiment:
Test/ Procedure:
1.Get identical twins, that are about the same weight
2.Give one of the twins Decatrim and the other Proslim
3.Have them take one capsule a day for 5 months with exactly one cup of water each
4.Have then eat the same exact of meals with same amount at the same time
5.After the 5 months, record your data and make your conclusion
The Question is: which weight loss product is more effective?; decatrim or proslim?

WEll i just learned this! hahaha
Control= The normal (what is normal for ex the unpeeled grape, a peeled grape is not normal!)
Constants= The thing or more that keeps the same through out the experiment
Independent Variable= Something you test, Something you change EX ( Sally wanted to see if water or Gatorade makes her run faster) The thing YOU change is what you drink.
Dependent=The effect, Lets go back to the running example EX (how fast you ran)
Good Luck! Don’t be afraid to ask for help from the teacher!
