Sounds like the pills are making you speed and you’re having a bad reaction. Stop taking them and drink lots of water to flush your system. If you have Benadryl, take one – it will help calm you down. Don’t fool around with this – these kind of reactions can lead to a heart attack. You might have to loose weight the old fashioned way – but at least you’ll live to see the results.

I have heard of quicktrim on television. I just knew it was a waste of money by even seeing the commercial! People shouldn’t be spending their money on products that say “it will help you lose weight”. The only way to get in shape is to exercise daily and eat healthy foods. Go work out at the gym and go out for walks with your friends! : )
I am very skinny(because of my metabolism, but it’s still important for me to be active and stay healthy! I love playing with my pets and I love running outside!
Oh, and if that quicktrim thing is causing weird side effects, then stop taking it!

Very few human studies with Bioperine have been published and the right dosage for long term use is not known. Would Bioperine supplement use for many months or years cause side effects? The answers are not in and therefore taking breaks is a good idea. CoQ10 has been studied more often and it may be better to take the supplements separately since one can take more time off from the Bioperine until more studies are published.

Will Bioperine help the body absorb supplements better?
This is a claim the manufacturer makes but I have not seen enough data to know for sure and whether, practically speaking, it makes much difference. At this time I think that this product will help with the absorption of certain supplements, but I am not sure how safe it would be to consume it daily for weeks and months.

I find hair loss a side effect with 50 mg Bioperine with 1200 mg curcumin. Is this common or reversible? Diagnosis: Recurrent Polychondritis.
This is the first time we have had an email from someone reporting hair loss in relation to the use of these supplements. At this time I am not ready to believe there is a link, but I will keep an open mind if others report the same.

What are symptoms of relapsing polychondritis?

Typically, relapsing polychondritis causes sudden pain in the inflamed tissue at the onset of the disease. Common symptoms are pain, redness, swelling, and tenderness in one or both ears, the nose, throat, joints, and/or eyes. Fever, fatigue, and weight loss often develop.

Inflammation of the ears and nose can cause deformity (saddle nose deformity and floppy ears) from weakened cartilage. Impaired hearing, balance, and nausea can be caused by inner ear inflammation.
