I have just started using PGX Daily. I’m interested in hearing about other people’s experiences with it.
I have been taking PGX Daily for 3 days. When I brought the product home, I tried putting one of the capsules in a glass of water to see what would happen. Nothing happened. I tried cutting one open too, again nothing. But alas I have learned online that it is triggered by the acidity in your stomach, so that is why it does nothing in a glass of water. :D

I do notice that I am not as hungry. I don’t subscribe to the “5 small meals a day” idea at all. I eat when I am hungry, which typically means my first meal at about 2pm and then dinner at maybe 6 or 7.

I started taking this product because I was interested in increasing the fiber content of my diet. My understanding is that they are soluble fibre, which reduces the effect of the sugars you eat, but doesn’t make you things move more quickly through your body. For that I think you need insoluble fiber I suppose.

Just interested in anyone else’s feedback or opinions about this product. Thanks!

There may be many factors why this will not “do anything” in a glass of water. As you stated, it may just react with your stomach acid. If that is the case try putting it into some sort of household acid. You can find this in many products, but I will leave you to your own experiments with that.
A better explanation for why it does nothing would be the fact that weight loss pills never do anything, or at least the legal ones don’t do anything. If I were you I would either try to return that, many vitamin stores have the, if your not satisfied withing 30 days you can return it. It is up to you if you chose to keep it or not. I will tell you straight up that you should not expect them to work, the FDA would not allow these pills to go onto the market if they actually worked. Remember the ephedrine hype? It worked, it killed people, and the FDA pulled it off the shelves.
As for fiber, you would be better off taking Metamucil that is meant for fiber.
If you really took this pill to lose weight, try exercising by doing cardiovascular activities. Many people do not understand that this is the best way to burn fat. These actives would be things such as power walking or jogging/running. Things that uneducated people recommend may be weight lifting and the like. The thing is, You are not going to build much muscle if you are a female, I assume you are female because you are weight unselfconscious, because you will not build muscle, it will not help you burn calories in that sense. As far as during the weight workout, you will burn calories, it is just not nearly as time effective as jogging.
I hope I helped you some, It makes it hard to come up with a explanation with no personal statistics for you.
