How can I suppress my appetite?
For some reason I’ve been starving lately. I’ve never really had this problem, but over this past week it seems as if I’m always hungry. I believe it may be related to me being on my menstrual cycle, but I’m not sure. What are some good tips for helping to suppress my appetite? Are there any foods I could eat or things I could drink to help prevent me from always being hungry? Or maybe even a diet pill/formula I could purchase over the counter? I’ve worked so hard to lose weight, I don’t want to put it all back on because of my excessive hunger lately.

If you are craving one particular food then you are most likely to need the vitamins from it. Otherwise, drink a lot of water before you eat and you will feel full

Drink water. Your body is probably thirsty. Water helps suppress appetite and it flushes out your body.

drink a lot of water, sometimes, when you feel hungry, that just means that you’re body is thirsty. don’t take diet pills, they aren’t good for you, and it’s a cheap way out. if you are craving a snack, munch on carrot sticks, celery, fruit, or granola, just don’t make a meal out of those things. the drinking water thing usually works best.

Your excessive hunger is due to your dieting in the first place. Many people are under the mistaken impression that by starving themselves they are doing something healthy. You need to eat large amounts of healthy foods in order to convince your body that you are not actually starving. You have slowed your metabolism, and will continue to have issues with your weight until you realize this.

drinking plenty of water really helps. before meals and through out the day. it probably has to do with your cycle so don’t worry. do a little more exercise during your cycle if you tend to eat more.
