the main ingredient is Orlistat which blocks some of the fat that you eat from being absorbed by your body….you cannot consume more than 30% fat in your meal …the fat it prevents from being absorbed is flushed out in your stool as an oily residue….like excess olive oil on the surface of a pizza surface…..
for some people it works…but you have to eat healthy…you can’t eat junk food with lots of fat in it …you have to limit your fat intake and take a multivitamin
am currently trying it …but i don’t think i like it….there’s alot of discomfort …kinda feels like I’m gonna be sitting in the toilet alot

side effects
oily spotting;
oily or fatty stools;
orange or brown colored oil in your stool;
gas with discharge, an oily discharge;
an urgent need to go to the bathroom;
an inability to control bowel movements, or;
an increased number of bowel movements.

You have to be careful not to exceed the 15 grams of fat or your going to be in discomfort and spend a lot of time in the bathrooom. I think more than anything alli keeps you honest about eating high fat meals. I think it’s helping me some and because I’m careful I’ve only had one problem since I started taking it.
